Filming Experiences:

Arguably the finest Standard 8mm movie camera ever made! The Vario Switar lens is the sharpest zoom lens you will ever find and as good as the Switar prime lenses used on the B/C/D/H8 cameras.

The power zoom is smooth and the TTL metering acurate. The camera even has a lever to close off the view finder to stop the film being fogged. The whole camera is a piece of quality kit just as you would expect from Bolex

Once small niggle, and it's just being picky, setting the aperture manually is a bit fiddly.

Whilst the unthinking hurd chase the Bolex P1 these cameras can be picked up for next to nothing and are in a different league.
